Creepy Guy in the Basement 2

I could keep returning to the same few places until I turned blue.

Manchester down by the canal. That fish and chip shop on the Kings Road, the unfashionable end. Well, unfashionable four to five years ago. Now it's probably incredibly fashionable, as fashion has been pushed down the street like toothpaste through a tube. Ironic that's there's no Tube down this end, unless you count the twenty minute walk to either Earl's Court or Fulham Road as close enough. Anyway. The little French patisserie by the Virgin Megaplex down on the corner of Fulham Road and Drayton Gardens that was always packed to the gills on a match day.

Saint Paul's Cathedral. This, of course, I've never actually been to. I've been by it, but never inside. So I don't know if I could keep returning to it. But, funnily enough, the one single solitary time I actually did turn blue was on the handy old Number Eleven bus from Liverpool Street Station. Rather, I didn't quite just turn blue, like it was unexpected or anything, but it was at the point the bus passes St Paul's Cathedral that I was finally in full Blue Man Group garb, blue from head to toe.

I was headed to the Royal Court Theatre, down in Sloane Square, and no, the Blue Man Group (official or otherwise) were not playing there that night.

It was... well, it's complicated.

To be continued... ?

Liked it.
Didn't like it.
Would have liked more references to bats.
I'd rather be boiled in vinegar.

Also, we'd like your take on the now missing Summary Feature (email subscribers can still access the summary for the current week's issue only and you can sign up here). How do you feel about the (now gone) summary feature on each issue?
I miss it.
Didn't use it.
What summary, you mean I can get away with reading less?
Don't miss it at all.
