Fancy Fries

This week's Sane's life was cut tragically short.


Short not by international standards. Well, short by international standards, too.


Short, and mostly sweet. But not too sweet, for those who don't like too much sweetness. Like me, it turns out, if the Raspberry Lemonade Freezes at the Rain Forest Cafe are anything to go by.


My face is still somewhat puckered and attracting bees from miles around thanks to the sickly combination of sweetness and sour, heretofore unrivaled by even the staunchest of Sweet and Sour Chickens.


This is made all the more impressive by the determination of these bees, seeing as it's not exactly "bee weather", as I like to call it.


Perhaps they're the killer bees from Texas, at long last here. In New England.
